GE Current, a Daintree company, today announces the enhancement of its industry-leading European portfolio of next-generation Lucalox HPS lamps with a range of Arize H-Series HPS fixtures. These will allow greenhouse growers the flexibility to retrofit their existing installations with the latest, high-performance and high reliability HPS lamps, or deploy them in hybrid LED setups with ease. The Arize H600 fixture is designed for use with 600W HPS E40 lamps and the Arize H1000 fixture is designed for the company’s Lucalox 1000W double-ended lamp.

The Arize H600 and Arize H1000 fixtures are available with cylindrical reflectors to provide a more precise and uniform spread of light that penetrates deeper into the crop. The H1000 is also available with an optional open reflector, allowing light to be distributed across a wider area or where headroom is an issue.

With Current’s heritage of lighting innovation dating back to the invention of the first HPS lamp, the company has continued to drive further improvements to the performance and lifespan of the Lucalox range, allowing growers to use the lamps for longer, reducing maintenance and replacement costs as well as supporting sustainability over the long term.

Backed by a one-year warranty, and with a rated efficacy of up to 150lm/W, the new-generation Lucalox 1000W, 600W and 400W lamps offer superior photosynthetic efficiency compared with other HPS lamps on the market. GE Current’s extensive in-house testing has also recorded an increased lifespan of up to 18,000 hours. This presents an increase of close to 30% on the 14,000 hours offered by previous generations, making them ideally suited to stand-alone or hybrid installations using longer-lasting LEDs.

The full range of Lucalox lamps and the latest Arize H-Series fixtures are available to order now across European markets.
